JRS184 Lidwall

The 184th episode of the Jeton Records Radio Show welcomes Lidvall, originally from Saint Petersburg and currently based in Oviedo, Spain.

Lidvall began his career in Saint Petersburg in 2017, before living in Tbilisi and eventually settling in Oviedo. His approach combines raw, groovy, and hypnotic techno, with dynamic three-channel mixing at the centre of his DJ sets. Rather than simply playing tracks in their original form, he layers and reshapes them throughout his performances, creating a continuous flow that often works like a live remix.

His productions have appeared on respected techno labels including Mord, Soma, Symbolism, Edit Select, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Faut Section, and MindTrip. He also runs his own imprint, SMUTA, focused on a futuristic approach to techno. His career has taken him across Europe and South America, while his early years included appearances at events such as Gamma Festival and Monasterio Factory.

Alongside producing and DJing, Lidvall teaches techno production and gives lectures where he shares his creative methods and production techniques.
